FIBERPRO's PDL meter, PL2000, measures polarization dependent loss (PDL) and insertion loss (IL) of optical components simultaneously as well as optical power. The product also has a synchronization port to synchronize with a tunable laser, that if equipped, a user can have a wavelength dependent value of PDL. (wavelength-swept measurement). Our powerful PDL measurement method ─ fast “polarization scanning” (according to TIA/EIA-455-157) ─ enables the PL2000 to maintain extremely high accuracy while having one of the world’s fastest measurement speed amongst its competitors.
