Highly integrated solution including EDFAs, Mux/DeMux and DCMs
Optical interface flexibility using pluggable optics for both client and line side
Smallest foot print/port capacity functionality in the market
Low power consumption
Based on current products proven SW, HW and management architecture
Support both AC and DC PSU
The PL-1000GM is designed to provide 100G transport solution in modular and cost effective way for rolling out services. It uses standards based, pluggable optical modules on all the optical interfaces on both client and line side. It is targeted for meeting the market demands for low power consumption, rack space savings and reduction in the overall solution CAPEX and OPEX by increasing the capacity of enterprise and metro networks.
Unlike other 100G solutions, PacketLight integrates up to two optical amplifiers, Mux/Demux and DCM modules if needed in the same 1U chassis offering the smallest and the most integrated 100G transport solution in the industry.
Ideal for applications such as:
Metro networks ranging up to 1,200km
Enterprise and campus networks
Data Center connectivity and cloud applications
P2P 34dB-link budget without inline amps
Last mile access/aggregation CPE for managed services providers
Providing 100G links over existing infrastructure (alien wavelength)
CWDM / DWDM, Multiplexed Transmission Testing, Metro Ethernet, Data Centre Connectivity, GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network), Last Mile, Network Infrastructure, Network Core and Edge, OTN (Optical Transport Networking), CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing), Dark Fiber, DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing), Layer-1 Encryption for Optical Networks, Storage Area Networks (SAN), Enterprise Networking, Ethernet and LAN Devices, Fiber Interconnect Components
