Introduction

The PSG 2000 by Luna Innovations is a high-speed polarization state generator that allows for the rapid generation of up to six unique polarization states on a Poincaré sphere. These states include Left Circular Polarization (LCP), Right Circular Polarization (RCP), Linear ±22.5°, and Linear ±67.5°. The PSG 2000 achieves this in under 50 µs between consecutive states, ensuring high repeatability of less than 0.1 degree.

The PSG 2000 includes a new self-latching PSG 4-bit optical head and predictable wavelength and temperature dependence for easy calibration. An ideal choice for swept wavelength component measurement systems

The PSG 2000 also includes a user interface for manual adjustments and automatic sweeping of the selected states from the six distinct polarization options.
