Connector & Battery Summary
This kit is equipped for SC/APC connectors. The power meter also accepts SC/PC connectors.
Optional adaptor styles include: Universal 2.5 & 1.25 mm, LC, FC, ST, E2000, MU, SMA, F3000, D4, LSA. These are available for purchase separately.
Both instruments use 2 x AA batteries with selectable re-charging via micro USB port. Battery life is 1000 hours for the meter and and 80 hours for the source.
Pocket padded pouch, splash resistant cloth outer covering with zipper, carry strap. Some space for additional (not supplied): batteries, connector adaptors, additional documentation. Each pouch can accommodate any two KI2000 style instruments.

According to federal law in Australia, any hand-held, battery operated laser with a power emmission above 1mW is considered a dangerous weapon, and written consent must be obtained prior to possessing/importing such a laser pointer.
Unless otherwise stated, the Visual Fault Locators and other handheld laser devices sold by AusOptic are fully compliant with the 1mW output limits and do not require a permit to carry.
