Description
The new and improved S218R-Plus meets the demanding requirements of Rollable Ribbon installations currently being driven by data centres and their increasing need for density and efficiency.
At 200 micron, Rollable Ribbon is thinner than the conventional ribbon fiber. To remove this coating with a thermal stripper adequately requires a very high degree of accuracy in the peeling mechanism. In order to address to this issue, the S218R has been updated along with our next generation of fusion splicers to support the adaption of 200 μm Rollable Ribbon fibre, as well as stripping for both conventional ribbon fiber and single fibre types.
