The FITEL S154-AC is an optical fiber splicer that features Active Clad Aligning on the fiber jacket. This splicing machine is suitable for various applications, including FTTx, LAN, metropolitan networks, data centers, and the assembly of spliced connectors (SOC - Splice On Connector). The design of the splicer's body and control is identical to the proven FITEL S179 model.

Reliable Splicing in Demanding Conditions

The S154-AC splicer provides fast and reliable splicing with low splice insertion loss (0.03 dB for identical SM filaments), even in the most demanding conditions. Its rugged body is resistant to dust, water, and wind, making it suitable for outdoor installations in inclement weather. The splicer is also designed to withstand falls and impacts from five different angles.

The FITEL S154-AC splicer offers several features that enhance its operational deployment. It provides fast splicing, baking, and long battery life, including fast charging. Fast Splicing and Heating

The FITEL S154-AC Fusion Splicer is capable of completing a splice in just 6 seconds. Additionally, it only takes 15 seconds to heat the splice protector. During the heating process, the splicer utilizes a patented pressure mechanism to apply pressure on the splice protection. This mechanism allows for a more efficient heat transfer from the splice protection furnace, resulting in a significant reduction in baking time.
