Introduction

The 3SAE Thermal Stripper High Strength – Adjustable models are compact, easy-to-use optical fiber stripping units designed to thermo-mechanically remove coatings from optical fibers.

The Thermal Stripper High Strength – Adjustable (TS-ADJ) supports optical fibers with cladding diameters ranging from 30 μm to 1000 μm, including standard 250 μm, 400 μm, and 900 μm coated fibers. It can also handle buffer diameters up to 1200 μm. The adjustable temperature and time settings of the TS-ADJ allow it to adapt to stripping a variety of different optical fiber coatings and cladding sizes.

3SAE offers a complete line of preparation tools, which includes the 3SAE Thermal Stripper, 3SAE Ultrasonic Cleaner, and 3SAE fiber cleavers. These tools are configurable for use with 3SAE, FITEL, and Fujikura fiber holders. By using fiber holders, you can ensure a repeatable handling process across strip, clean, cleave, and splice equipment, resulting in high strength fusion splicing and improved yield.
